Ranchi, Dec.27: Police arrested an IT graduate from a Nagpur based engineering college, Praveen Kumar Jha, who created a fake website of the forest department and published advertisements for appointment of foresters in Jharkhand with an intention to siphon off the application fee of job aspirants.
Jha, a resident of Qr No 1048, Sector 6/D, under sector-6 police station of Bokaro district, created the website on July 22, 2021 through GoDaddy.
GoDaddy is used as a web host and domain registrar. What that means is when people want to buy a domain name they can go to GoDaddy and purchase it. After they purchase the domain name they can host their website with the service.

Jha identified himself as Harshad and used his mobile number 9313010087 and email id rohanjha112358@gmail.com to create the website.
