Ranchi, Jan.5: The Maoist attack on a former BJP legislator in West Singhbhum on January 4 has given the former chief minister Raghubar Das a chance to attack the Hemant Soren government, who succeeded him in 2019.

“The difference is clear. Naxalites were roaming in hiding in our government, but today their morale is sky-high. When action is not taken for pasting posters on the wall of Raj Bhavan, then obviously their morale will increase,” Das tweeted taking serious note of the attack on Gurucharan Nayak.

“Politics has its place dear Chief Minister but any laxity with security is not appropriate,” Das added to his tweet.

CPI-Maoists had killed two bodyguards and injured one in the attack. They, who were around 100 in number, also took away all the three AK-47 guns given to the bodyguards for the security of a former BJP legislator. Gurucharan Nayak saved his life hiding in the crowd of people.
