Ramgarh, Jan 21: SAF jawan Naik Subedar Kameshwar Thakur (59) posted in Rajrappa police station died in a road accident near Rajrappa’s Kanha restaurant at 11 a.m. on Friday.
Kameshwar Thakur had gone to the nursery near Kanha restaurant to get flower pots and other materials for the preparations for January 26.
Due to the negligence of the driver of a trailer, Kamleshwar died in the accident. Another jawan Sanjay Kumar got injured in this accident.
In the presence of Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar, SAF 1 Commander Col Praveen Kumar, Police Line Major Mansu Gop, Rajrappa Police Station in-charge Inspector Vipin Kumar, and jawans gave a condolence salute to Naik Subedar Kameshwar Thakur.
Giving the last salute to the deceased jawan, the SP and SAF Commander paid tribute by offering a bunch of flowers.
While consoling the family members of the deceased, SP Prabhat Kumar and SAF Commandant Praveen Kumar said that the police family will stand with the family in every difficult time.
The mortal remains of the deceased SAF jawan along with his family members were sent to his residence in Ranchi, from where he would be taken to his ancestral residence Buxar for the last rites.
