Ramgarh: Two die, five sustain injuries in road accident

Ramgarh: Two youths died while five suffered injuries in a major road accident near the Bongabar Fourlane overbridge under Kuju OP of this district, a Wagon R car went out of control and collided with the barricade.

A youth has been referred to Ranchi in serious condition, while three others are being treated at a private hospital in Ranchi.  Another one of them suffered minor injuries.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent by Kuju OP Police to Sadar Hospital Ramgarh for postmortem.

“Seven youths, all residents of Sandi had gone to take bath in the Damodar river.  While returning, the car lost balance near the over bridge and collided with the divider.  Sanu Tiwari, Shahil Ojha, Harsh Singh, Kanhaiya Santhalia, Shivam Karmali, Vishal Sharma and Vicky Kshetri were injured in the incident,” Kuju police said.

“The injured were immediately brought to a hospital in Ranchi. Vicky Kshetri and Vishal Sharma died during treatment.  Seeing the critical condition of the injured Harsh Singh, the doctors have referred him for better treatment.  Shahil, Shanu and Kanhaiya are under treatment. The police have seized the crashed vehicle,” police added.
