Mumbai, Feb 5: Lata Mangeshkar, the veteran singer who was taken to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital earlier this month after testing positive for Covid-19, is still in the ICU and on a ventilator, according to ANI.
The 92-year-old singer was also suffering from pneumonia. On January 30, she recovered from Covid-19 and pneumonia.
“Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition has deteriorated again, she is critical. She is on a ventilator. She is still in ICU and will remain under the observation of doctors: Dr Pratit Samdani, Breach Candy Hospital,” tweeted ANI on Saturday.
Earlier, fake news of the veteran singer passing away had also appeared on social media which were denied by the family and doctors in close contact to Lata Mangeshkar.
