Dehradun, March 10: Counting of votes for the 70 seats of Uttarakhand began at 8 am on Thursday. The election in Uttarakhand took place on February 14th, and the results will be announced on March 10th.
Early trends shows BJP is leading in 32 seats, while Congress is ahead in 23 seats.
Earlier in the week, the exit polls had predicted a close fight between the ruling BJP and the Congress in Uttarakhand
Notably, in the 2017 Uttarakhand Assembly elections, BJP won 56 seats, INC won 11 seats, and IND won 2 seats.
