Poland’s Karolina Bielawska wins Miss World 2021 crown

Puerto Rico, March 17: Karolina Bielawska of Poland has won the Miss World pageant, which took place in Puerto Rico for the 70th time. She was crowned Miss World 2021.The coronation took held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the Coca-Cola Music Hall. The first runner-up was Shree Saini of the United States, while the second runner-up was Olivia Yace of Côte d’Ivoire.

Karolina is now working on a Master’s Degree in Management and hopes to pursue a PhD in the future. Karolina works as a model as well. Swimming, scuba diving, tennis, and badminton are some of her favourite activities. According to the Miss World Organization, she wants to be a motivational speaker.

“When I heard my name I was shocked, I still can’t believe it. I am honoured to wear the Miss World crown and can’t wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life,” she said after being crowned by the 69th Miss World.

Notably, the highly anticipated Miss World final was broadcast in over 100 countries around the world. After the December Final was postponed due to an outbreak of Covid-19, 40 semi-finalists returned to Puerto Rico.
