Hamilton, March 22: India defeated Bangladesh by 110 runs for their third win in the competition on Tuesday. Bangladesh hitters couldn’t handle spinner Sneh Rana, who finished with a four-wicket haul. Bangladesh never got going in their chase for 230 runs and was all out for 119 runs in 40.3 overs. With 32 runs, Salma Khatun was the team’s leading scorer.

Choosing to bat first, India scored 229/7 in 50 overs against Bangladesh in Hamilton, owing to Yastika Bhatia’s 50-run performance and cameos from Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh. Choosing to bat first, Mithali-Raj got off to a good start, with Shafali and Smriti Mandhana doing a good job.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, countered with three quick wickets of Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, and Mithali Raj, putting India on the back foot.
