Former Jarmundi MLA sustains minor injuries in road accident at Ramgarh

Ramgarh, May 20: Former Jarmundi MLA Devendra Kunwar sustained minor injuries in a road accident that occurred at Kejhiya valley under Dulmi block of Ramgarh district. Car driver of the former MLA has sustained injuries in the back.

According to information, a container dashed the Kia car of the former MLA. Former Jarmundi MLA Devendra Kunwar was on way to Ranchi from Jarmundi. The former MLA escaped in the incident while the driver and cleaner of the container escaped after the accident.

The valley falls under the Rajrappa police station area of Ramgarh district. Rajrappa police station incharge Vipin Kumar reached the spot with cops after getting the information. Meanwhile, Devendra was taken out from the damaged car by social worker cum Dulmi block 20 point president Sudhir Manglesh.

Sudhir called a doctor and managed to send the MLA to Ranchi for proper treatment with the help of Agriculture Minister Badal Patralekh. He informed the minister about the accident who then instructed him to get the MLA’s treatment done.

“Kejhiya valley just like Chuttupalu valley is notorious for regular accidents. So far many accidents have taken place here. The series of accidents has not stopped,” said Manglesh.
