Ranchi, May 27: The BJP Youth Wing on Friday organised a protest outside the DAV Kapildev premises demanding the removal of Principal M K Sinha from his post. Higher officials of the DAV group present on the occasion later assured the protestors that apt action is being taken against Sinha and that he has been fired from his post as principal and assistant regional officer of DAV.
Raunak Rajput, Ayush Singh, Rahul Gupta from Yuva Morcha BJP and Rituraj Sahdev from Hindu Yuva Vahini led the protest and demanded justice for the victim. Notably, the principal of the school, M K Sinha is facing charges of molestation after female nursing staff has lodged a complaint of molestation against him. The principal, however, has been absconding for the past three days.
Meanwhile, students of the school have claimed that the principal was rude. They claimed that they were not surprised in the slightest by the allegations against the principal because he was ‘sleazy’ as per discussions in school. A few female students even claimed that they felt he would touch them inappropriately when they would go to him for his blessings. The students also demanded that the principal be removed from his post.
With students of the school protesting against the principal itself, it is a shock that none of the teachers in the school was ready to comment on the situation. When a lagatar24.com correspondent tried to talk to the teachers about the ground reality of the situation, they would either decline to comment or turn away.
However, after several failed attempts, a teacher said that he had no idea before the FIR was lodged and that he did not wish to say anything on this subject. Meanwhile, it seems that even the parents of the students are under pressure from the school as even they declined to comment on the matter.
