Usha Martin Ltd hires five students of BIT Sindri

Dhanbad, May 31: Usha Martin Ltd has selected five electrical and production engineering department students of Birsa Institute of Technology (BIT) Sindri from the campus for graduate engineering training.

Selected five students are Ansh Kumar (electrical engineering), Prakash Kumar (electrical engineering), Vivek Bharti (production engineering), Ayush Kumar Gupta (production engineering) and Aashutosh Choubey (production engineering faculty).

Prof (Dr) Ghanshyam Kumar Singh, the chairman Career Development Centre of BIT Sindri said that Usha Martin has selected these five students from campus for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee at CTC of Rs 4.32 lakh per annum.

As selection information reached the campus, BIT Sindri director Dr DK Singh congratulated the successful students and wished them a bright future ahead in their careers.

“I express my gratitude and sincere regards to the management team of Usha Martin for providing this wonderful opportunity to our students and conducting a smooth recruitment process on the campus,” said Dr Singh, the director after getting information about the campus selection.

He also appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of BIT Training and Placement Cell coordinator Madhav Kumar and his team for increasing placement opportunities for students on the campus.

Prof Ghanshyam Kumar Singh also congratulated ex-BIT student Sumit Kumar Thakur for UPSC civil service examination 2021 result.

Sumit Kumar Thakur, 2018 B. Tech computer science student of BIT has got 263 rank in the examination for which result published on Monday. “He had got the second position while leading BIT Sindri team in Smart India Hackathon competition in 2017,” said Prof Singh.
