New Delhi, Nov 30: Aaftab Ameen Poonawala, the suspect in the murder of Shraddha Walkar, admitted during a polygraph examination on Tuesday that he has no regrets about killing his partner.

According to Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) personnel, Aaftab admitted to killing Shraddha Walkar and claimed he felt no remorse for the act.

Aaftab also admitted during the polygraph that he had dumped Shraddha’s dismembered body parts in the bush and that he had dated several different women.

Aaftab told the authorities that he had already told them the specifics of the Shraddha murder case, and his behaviour during the polygraph test was typical.  A day after being attacked by some individuals outside the laboratory, Aaftab was brought to the FSL office in Delhi on Tuesday under heavy protection for his polygraph test.

Aaftab is accused of killing Shraddha on May 18 and then dismembering her body into 35 pieces, which he allegedly kept in a 300-liter refrigerator at his home in Mehrauli, south Delhi, for about three weeks before disposing of them over a number of days.

The first session of Aaftab’s polygraph test was postponed due to his ‘ill health.’ The test’s second session, scheduled for November 23, was also postponed, and the second and third sessions, scheduled for November 25 and 26, respectively, were held instead.
