AAP-Congress Seat-Sharing Talks Fail
AAP’s release of its fourth list comes after seat-sharing discussions with the Congress broke down. Both parties had engaged in negotiations to form a united front for the Haryana Assembly elections, but they failed to reach an agreement on seat allocation. AAP had reportedly sought ten seats in the 90-member assembly, but Congress declined, leading both parties to pursue separate campaigns.
Following the collapse of the talks, AAP announced that it would contest all 90 seats in the upcoming election. With 61 candidates now declared, AAP is expected to release its final list for the remaining 29 seats in the coming days.
As the Haryana Assembly elections approach, AAP is positioning itself as a major player, determined to challenge both the BJP and Congress in key constituencies across the state.
