Chatra, June 8: In the review meeting of the education department of the district, it was brought to the notice of Chatra Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abu Imran that most of the Block Resource Persons(BRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) stay outside the headquarters and their work is negligent. It said that this in turn is affecting the smooth functioning of the education department in different blocks of the district.  In this context, the DC directed the district education officer Dinesh Kumar Mishra to summon all BRPs and CRPs to the district headquarters at 4 pm on Wednesday to register their presence. If any BRP and CRP are found absent then take action against them as per rules. Imran said that due to the negligence of BRP and CRP, the work of education is getting affected.

As per the instructions of DC Abu Imran, Mishra summoned all BRPs and CRPs to the education department office so as to register their attendance. Those BRPs and CRPs who followed the order registered their attendance and returned with directives so as not to maintain a negligent attitude while discharging their official duties.

Mishra said that the total number of working CRPs in the district is 99 and the number of working block BRPs is 27. Out of this, a total of 54 CRPs were found present, while a total of 24 BRPs registered their attendance by coming to the education department office by 4 PM yesterday.

Mishra said action will be taken against all BRPs and CRPs found absent as per rules and as instructed by the DC.
