Daltonganj, Dec 6: Sleuths of the Palamu Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday caught the Peshkar Ashok Kumar of the court of the SDO Sadar Rajesh Kumar Sah red-handed while taking Rs 30,000 as a bribe.

The ACB’s action was on a written complaint of Mubarak Hussain of Bori village under the Chainpur police station wherein he had alleged that Ashok Kumar was asking for a bribe for the order in a land case of 2017.

The ACB investigated the allegation and found the complaint to be true. The complaint was lodged with the ACB Palamu on December 1.

Today at around 11.45 am, the ACB sleuths caught Ashok Kumar and brought him to its office for further work for judicial remand here in Daltonganj.
