New Delhi, Nov 24: India recorded a daily increase of 408 coronavirus infections, bringing the total to 4,46,70,483, while active cases continued to fall to 5,881, as per the data released by the union health ministry on Thursday.
The data showed that the death toll had increased to 5,30,601 with five fatalities, including four reconciled by Kerala and one death reported from Rajasthan in the last 24 hours.
According to the health ministry website, the national Covid-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.80%, and active cases make up only 0.01 per cent of all infections.
The number of active Covid-19 cases has dropped by 165 over the past 24 hours. Recovery cases increased to 4,41,34,001, and the case fatality rate was 1.19 per cent.
The national Covid-19 vaccination programme has resulted in the administration of 219.88 crore doses of in the country thus far, according to the ministry’s website.
