New Delhi, Oct 3: A suicide attack in a classroom in Kabul killed at least 53 people, including 46 girls and women, the AFP news agency reported, according to the United Nations.
Khaama Press of Afghanistan reported that the explosion occurred on the Shahid Mazar highway near the Pul-e-Sukhta area in the western part of the Afghan capital Kabul.
Earlier, on Friday a large number of children were reportedly killed in a suicide bombing at an educational institute in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul. The explosion inside the center in the Dashti Barchi neighborhood of Kabul is populated mostly by members of Afghanistan’s minority Shiite community.
