New Delhi, Aug 17: In response to the security breach event that occurred in February of this year, the Centre has removed three commandos involved in the security of National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval.
Three CISF commandos have been dismissed while one DIG and a commandant rank officer of the force transferred.
Notably, Ajit Doval’s home experienced a security breach in February 2022 when a guy attempted to enter the building. Security guards stopped him, and the Delhi Police later took him into custody.
According to sources, the man driving the red SUV attempted to open the gate to Doval’s high-security central Delhi home. The individual, named as Shantanu Reddy, allegedly claimed he had a chip in his body and was under external control. However, the MRI scan turned up no signs of a chip.
The Bengaluru-born man was mentally unstable. Officials had stated that the automobile was rented from Noida. The top Z+ CISF commando category is responsible for protecting the NSA. At the time of the incident, NSA Doval was present at the home.
