Ranchi, Aug.27: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other UPA MLAs went boating today at Latratu Dam, which is about 40 kilometres from the state capital.
The development happened amid speculations that chief minister Soren would be removed from the Jharkhand assembly as a result of the Election Commission of India’s response to Jharkhand governor Ramesh Bais, who had inquired about the action after an allegation that Soren had abused his position of authority.
They are anticipated to return by the evening for a meeting with Avinash Pandey, the All India Congress Committee’s Jharkhand representative.
When questioned about the purpose of the boating programme, a JMM insider responded that it was carried out to show the UPA MLAs’ support for the Jharkhand administration, which was considered to be in danger by several media outlets.
Hemant Soren is attempting to convey to the BJP that all of the UPA’s MLAs are working together by doing this. Everyone is having a good time, even in the midst of this political crisis.
