Amit Shah to chair ‘Chintan Shivir’ of State Home Ministers from Oct 27

Mumbai, Oct 26: The two-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ of home ministers of states will be held at Surajkund in Haryana on October 27 and 28. Topics to be covered include the creation of an ecosystem for the management of cybercrime, an increase in the use of IT in the criminal justice system, women’s safety, coastal security, and other internal security issues.

An official release stated that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the “Chintan Shivir,” whose goal is to create an action plan for putting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Vision 2047” and “Panch Pran” into action.

On October 28, PM Modi will give a speech at the “Chintan Shivir” via video conference. The statement stated topics to be covered at the event include creating an ecosystem for managing cybercrime, modernising police departments, increasing the use of information technology in the criminal justice system, managing land borders, coastal security, and other internal security concerns.

To attain the objective of “Developed India by 2047,” the role of “Nari Shakti” is crucial, and special attention will be paid to women’s protection and the creation of safe environments for them.

In addition to facilitating national policymaking, the conference also aims to improve planning and cooperation in the aforementioned areas. The “Chintan Shivirsix “‘s sessions will cover a variety of topics.

Home guards, civil defence, fire protection, and enemy property are just a few of the topics that will be covered on the first day. The announcement added topics like border control, drug trafficking, women’s safety, and cyber security would be tackled the next day.
