Talking to the media, Sujeet said that his mother Late Shanti Devi has always supported him and because of his blindness, her mother had to listen to the taunts of society but she did not pay attention to anything. She always kept his morale high.
He added that in his career so far, he has participated in the bilateral series against South Africa in the year 2018, the trilateral series played between India-Pakistan-Bangladesh in 2020 and the triangular series played between India-Pakistan and South Africa in Dubai.

In the second phase, 29 players were selected out of these 56 and in the third phase, 17 players out of 29 were selected to play in the World Cup.
Sujeet said that former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh will be with the team during the Blind T20 World Cup being played in December and will guide the players. Sujeet, who considers former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as his idol, told that he has not yet met his idol but has met Dhoni’s parents.
He added that he aims to do well in the World Cup and win the trophy for the country. Sujeet said that he would meet Chief Minister Hemant Soren and demand support for the differently-abled players as well.
