Deoghar, Jan 31: Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) will set up a bottle production plant for liquified urea in Deoghar at the 20-acre land in Babudih Mauja under the Kokari Bank panchayat in Jasidih block Industrial area.

As per the programme, Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone for the plant on February 4.

According to an estimate, the budget to set up the plant is Rs 500 crore and it will produce 1.5 lakh bottles every day. The gestation period for the construction of the plant has been estimated to be two years.

Talking to Lagatar24.com, the field manager of IFFCO Dev Kumar confirmed that the plant would be owned and managed by IFFCO itself.

He says that a packet of 45 kg of urea will be replaced by a half-litre bottle of Nano urea. The distribution of the bottles would follow the same channel as it has been for the distribution of urea so far.

As per the plan, the other manure would be produced in the same plant in coming years, he added.

He added that the use of nano urea will not only save the fertility of land but the yield would be 10 per cent more

Moreover, almost Rs two lakh crore is credited as subsidy for nano urea which will be available for farmer at 225, Dev Kumar added.

An Industrialist and board member of IFFCO Arun Gulgutia has warmly welcomed the setting up of the plant in Deoghar. He says it will be a boon for Santal Pargana in many ways.

Alok Mallick, the president of Santal Pargana Chamber of Commerce & Industries Deoghar has claimed that setting up the plant will provide at least more than one thousand employees directly or indirectly.

It will accelerate the pace of industrialisation in Santal Pargana as it will attract investors, he added.

Notably, rupee one per production of bottles will be donated to Baba Baidyanath Temple.
