Ramgarh, July 25: The nurse trainees demonstrated various types of diets such as balanced diet, bland diet, types of vitamins along with diets that can be taken according to the disease type such as anti-hypertensive diet, diabetic diet, high protein diet, diet for heart disease patient, low-calorie diet and liquid diet.
The main objective of this programme was to spread awareness among the people regarding proper eating habits according to body type and health condition. The guest of honour was Nirmal Kumar Mandal, Registrar of the Radha Govind University Ramgarh. He said that besides a healthy lifestyle, it is also very important to consume a healthy diet on time. One should not skip meals. Nowadays, people are struggling with various kinds of diseases just because of not having proper meals on time due to their busy life so, to avoid this problem, everyone must eat a balanced and nutritious diet.
All the ANM trainee nurses of the first year participated in this programme, along with them their teachers including Kritika Raj, Priya Ursula Xalxo and Kiran Mahto were present in the programme.
