Ramgarh, June 15: A meeting of the Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries was held in the auditorium of Chamber Bhawan, Ramgarh in Bijulia. The meeting was presided over by Pankaj Prasad Tiwari, the President of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
In the meeting, it was decided that the annual general meeting of the chamber will be held on June 26.
Secretary Bhupendra Singh informed the people present in the meeting about the issues between the office bearers of the present chamber and the members of the executive committee.
In the inaugural session of the annual general meeting, the burning issues of Ramgarh will be discussed and the demand letter will be handed over to the chief guest and the special guest by the Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries. A demand for a solution to the acute shortage and the problems arising due to sand etc will also be made.
Apart from this, there would be a demand to restart the closed coal projects in the Ramgarh district. A demand to start the Ranchi-Rajdhani Express service on the Barkakana route will be put forth. By amending the building by-laws of the Cantonment Board, demand will be made for the construction of new building by-laws and the army will free the restricted area of Ward 8 and Ward 7 from restrictions. In view of the immense potential of industries and factories within Ramgarh district, there will be a demand to build an industrial park.
It was decided in the meeting that if any member wants any amendment in the by-laws of Ramgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, then the amendment proposal can be submitted to the chamber office by 8:00 pm on June 18.
The foundation stone for the construction of a grand hall inside the chamber building was also decided to be completed by MLA Mamta Devi on the day of the annual general meeting i.e. June 26.
In the meeting, Inderpal Singh Saini, a member of the Executive Committee, urged to correspond with the Civil Aviation Minister for starting a direct flight from Ranchi to Punjab.
The meeting was mainly attended by Chamber President Pankaj Prasad Tiwari, Vice President Amresh Ganak, Secretary Bhupendra Singh, Co-Secretary Gopal Sharma, Chamber Service Trust President Vinay Agarwal, Former President Anand Kumar Agarwal and others.
