Mumbai, April 20: After a Rapid Antigen Test on Wednesday afternoon, a second foreign player from the Delhi Capitals squad tested positive for Covid-19, making it the sixth such instance in the camp. Before Delhi Capitals’ game against Punjab Kings on Wednesday evening, the Indian cricket board will conduct another round of testing.
The BCCI has told the Delhi Capitals that they will be testing players who are set to participate in Wednesday’s game at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium, according to the Indian Express. The Delhi Capitals players have been instructed to return to their rooms, and the BCCI will conduct door-to-door testing. According to the sources, the match will be played with players whose test results are negative. Later on, the remainder of the team and support workers will be put to the test.
An overseas player in the IPL team Delhi Capitals has been found positive in rapid testing. His RT-PCR awaited report is awaited.

Notably, the match between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings was originally scheduled to take place at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, but it was moved to Brabourne Stadium on Tuesday to prevent any further spread of the virus due to an undetected case on a long-distance bus journey in a closed environment.
