Ramgarh, June 15: One miscreant was arrested with arms late last evening in the Patratu block area. Patrolling Officer Mayank Prasad received information that a person with a weapon was going from Syal to Matkma Chouk on a motorcycle.
On the instructions of senior officials, vehicle checking was done near Do Muhani bridge. At the same time, a person appeared on a motorcycle from Sayal’s side. The police tried to stop him by giving a signal but that person started trying to run away, however, was caught by the police.
During the search, a country-made pistol, a live 7.65 mm bullet and a shell were found from the said person. After which formal seizure was done and the said person whose name is Raju alias Rakesh Kumar, age- 20 years was arrested. Raids are on against other involved persons. Seized items are one country-made revolver, one live bullet, one khoka and one Honda Extreme motorcycle.
