Ranchi, Oct.4: State food and civil supply minister Rameshwar Oraon expressed his concern over the arrest of senior party leader Priyanka Gandhi and scuffle with Rajya Sabha member Deependra Singh Hooda while they were on way to Lakhimpur Kheri in UP to meet the family members of the farmers died during agitation.
Oraon said that the action ‘reflected the dictatorial attitude of the BJP government in UP’ and his party will ‘not allow dictatorship to dominate over the democratic set up of the country.’
Party spokesperson Alok Dubey echoed Oraon saying that the ‘country cannot forget the BJP sponsored atrocity.’ He said ‘those who killed the farmers will have to pay the price.’
The reaction came a day after four agitating farmers died after a vehicle knocked them in UP.
