Jamshedpur, July 21: The steel city unit of Marwari Yuva Manch, a national-level philanthropic unit is going to organize an artificial organ transplant camp at the Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi from August 1-3.
A delegation led by President Mohit Moonka, a senior functionary of the outfit met Dr. Jhujharu Manjhi, Civil Surgeon of East Singhbhum and discussed the details of the camp and confirmed the offer of crutches and hearing aids as well as providing artificial limbs, especially arms and legs, to the patients attending the camp.
The Civil Surgeon appreciated the dedicated efforts of the organization and offered his support in every possible capacity to aid their noble cause.
Convener Pankaj Sanghi said, “Marwari Yuva Manch appeals to people to come forward and contribute to this initiative by providing information about anyone who needs artificial limbs and crutches or hearing aids”.
Vice-President of the Manch, Prashant Agarwal said, “The camp will take place at Sakchi Agrasen Bhawan, where the forum aims to provide artificial limbs and devices free of cost to those who can benefit from them”.
Notably, this humanitarian effort is a step towards empowering people with mobility impairments, giving them an opportunity to lead a more independent life.
