Ranchi: Traffic restrictions have been announced in Ranchi city in view of the Eastern Zonal Council meeting scheduled for July 10 at Hotel Radisson Blu. The event will be attended by the Honourable Union Home Minister, Chief Ministers of various states, and other prominent VIPs and VVIPs. To ensure security and smooth traffic management, several measures will be enforced across the city.

Key Traffic Restrictions Announced

Entry and movement of heavy goods vehicles within the city will be completely prohibited from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Light goods vehicles will not be allowed to enter or operate in the city between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and again from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Auto-rickshaw movement will be restricted from Birsa Chowk to Sujata Chowk between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

From Big Bazaar Chowk to Kadru Bridge (up to the lower chowk), entry and movement of all vehicles will be prohibited, except for vehicles participating in the event.

Due to limited parking at Hotel Radisson Blu, vehicles of senior officials attending the event will be parked behind the hotel.

All district-level officials, except senior officials, are instructed to park their vehicles either at the Ranchi Water Resources Complex or the Ranchi Club parking area.

District-level senior officials will park their vehicles at Firayalal Maidan.

Possible Diversions and Temporary Closures

Authorities have cautioned that additional routes may be diverted or temporarily closed based on security needs. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes and cooperate with the administration to ensure smooth traffic flow and security during the high-profile event.
