Arush Banerjee of DPS Bokaro tops Jharkhand Olympiad Mathematics Qualifier

Dhanbad, Oct 6: Class XI student of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro Arush Banerjee topped Jharkhand in the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM) competition.

A total of 159  students of Jharkhand qualified from the state for this prestigious Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics competition. DPS Bokaro official giving this information said that besides topper Arush Banerjee 14 more students of the institution secured their place in the final round.

Other qualifiers of DPS Bokaro are Kumar Anmol, Ayush Lachhiramka, Soumyadip Mandal, Kunal Kaushik, Anuj, Rayaan Singh, Ayush Raj, Ashlok Anand, Sidhant Vaibhav, Aarush Ranjan, Utkarsh Kumar, Shirish Krejia, Abhineet Sharan and Aditya Raj Chauhan.

Successful students of DPS Bokaro

DPS Bokaro principal, Dr A.S.Gangwar expressed his delight at the remarkable performance of the students and said that he immensely feels proud over the achievements of students in the IOQM. “It is a testament to their academic prowess and the dedication of our teachers,” he said.

He further added that no doubt it is a remarkable display of academic excellence, students from DPS Bokaro have achieved outstanding results in the prestigious competition.

The IOQM, which is the first stage of the Mathematical Olympiad program in India, is known for its rigorous testing of mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills. It serves as a stepping stone for students aspiring to represent India in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).

“The achievement of these students is a testament to their dedication, hard work and passion for mathematics. They have not only made their school proud but also brought honour to the state of Jharkhand. Their success reflects the exceptional quality of education and guidance provided by DPS Bokaro”, said the principal.
