MANISH GUPTA

Ranchi, Aug 27: Amid the speculation about the future of Hemant Soren as legislator in Jharkhand, the UPA legislators have started reaching the chief minister’s official residence with luggage since Saturday morning.

So far, those noticed at CM’s residence with bag and baggage include Dipika Pandey Singh, Alamgir Alam, Kumar Jaimangal, Rameshwar Oraon, Ramchandra Singh, Uma Shanker Akela and Joba Manjhi.

It is being speculated that they will go to some resort to discuss political development taking place following Election Commission of India’s sealed opinion to Jharkhand governor Ramesh Bais on ‘misuse of office’ by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

Though Joba Manjhi ruled resort politics saying ‘party does not believe in resort politics and all MLAs are in Ranchi,’ presence of legislators with the luggage suggested otherwise.

The development was observed a day after a section of vernacular dailies and social media hinted ouster of Hemant Soren from state assembly with contradictions of ruling party legislators including JMM and Congress.
