New Delhi, Oct 14: After a recent review, the Union government increased Himanta Biswa Sarma’s security protection to the highest level of Z-plus, according to officials.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) VIP security section supplied Himanta Biswa Sarma (53) with a Z category cover for his travels in the north eastern states up till this point.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the CRPF to raise his security to the highest level of Z-plus across all of India following a recent security review, the officials added.
