Ranchi, June 29: The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday dismissed the petition seeking appearance in the final interview organised by JPSC for selection of assistant engineers.
The order came from the court of Justice Rajesh Shankar, where the judgment was reserved on June 16 after hearing the arguments of all the concerned parties. As many as 38 petitions were filed in the matter.
Petitioners, Subhashish Rasik Soren and Amritansh Vats, argued before the court that it is mandatory to get 32 percent marks for reserve quota students and 40 percent for EWS.
Thus, they argued, 1355 candidates should be called, but only 1056 candidates were called for an interview. They contended that many candidates were not called in the interview even after getting the qualifying marks.
