Queensland (Australia), October 2: Australia all- rounder Ellyse Perry created history on Saturday. She picked her 300th wicket in International Cricket across all the three formats of Cricket. Now, Perry is the first women Cricketer to have achieved the double of 5,000 runs and 300 wickets in international Cricket.
The 30- year old Perry created this history as she dismissed Pooja Vastrakar(13)in the 143rd over of the ongoing pink-ball Test series against India at the Carrara Oval in Queensland. Only India’s Jhulan Goswami (337) and England’s Katherine Brunt (301) had previously reached the mark.

Notably, Perry has 3,135 runs along with 152 wickets to her credit in ODIs. While in the shortest format, she has 1,243 runs along with 115 wickets.
