New Delhi, Jan 9: The increased number of COVID-19 cases has resulted in the virus being contracted by a number of well-known celebrities in the entertainment sector. While some people only have minor symptoms, others must be admitted to the hospital due to the severity of their ailment. Sathyaraj, the iconic Telugu actor who played ‘Katappa’ in SS Rajamouli’s Prabhas-starrer epic film ‘Baahubali,’ is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Chennai.
The actor was reportedly transported to the hospital on January 7 evening as his condition deteriorated, according to reports. After testing positive for COVID-19, the actor was placed in home quarantine. The actor was reportedly transported to the hospital after his symptoms became serious and he required immediate medical assistance, according to sources.
Recently, south Superstar Mahesh Babu also tested positive for COVID-19 as he returned to India post the New Year celebrations. Other Telgu film celebrities who have tested positive for coronavirus includes Manchu Manoj, Manchu Lakshmi, music director Taman, Nitin’s wife, and actor Vishwak Sen.
