Ranchi, Sept.16: The wife of Babulal Marandi’s political adviser Sunil Tiwary, Lalima Tiwary, knocked the door of Jharkhand High Court demanding a CBI probe into the FIR against her husband saying that the FIR alleging her husband of sexual exploitation is politically motivated.
The petition was filed two days after Tiwary, who was arrested in UP in the case of sexual exploitation, was sent to Birsa Munda Central jail in 14-day judicial custody.
She through her petition submitted that the FIR against her husband is politically motivated and was registered after her husband knocked the door of the high court taking the matter of Rupa Tirkey, the Mahila Thana in-charge at Sahibganj whose body was found hanging at her staff quarter on May 3 this year.
The FIR was registered on August 16 at Argora police station. In the FIR a tribal girl, who used to work at Tiwary’s residence one year ago, alleged that Tiwary exploited her sexually. Police on the basis of the FIR first got the statement of the girl registered before a city court and then procuring a warrant for arrest from there arrested Tiwary at Etawa in UP.
