Ranchi, June 15: BJP legislature party chief and first chief minister of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi today through his tweet mocked the JMM’s slogan—‘Hemant Hai to Himmat Hai’
“JMM’s slogan is – Hemant hai to Himmat hai. But what exactly should happen? If Hemant is there then the state is in great misery, the robbers are rich. The state is divided with Hemant, this government is steeped in corruption. Since Hemant, there has been a government of dictatorship and middlemen in the state. Only Hemant has the courage to loot land, coal and mountains. Hemant has this spirit of doing illegal business and brokerage. Hemant is deeply disappointed and the young student’s life is ruined. Prem Prakash and Chhavi Ranjan are with Hemant only. Pankaj Mishra and Pooja Singhal also have glory from Hemant. People are disappointed with Hemant – the state is doomed. That’s why – the state has to be saved – Hemant has to be removed – BJP has to be brought in,” the tweet in Hindi reads.
The tweet came after the central probe agency arrested two IAS officers, Pooja Singal and Chhavi Ranjan, one chief engineer Virendra Ram, two Kolkata based businessmen Amit Agarwal and Dileep Ghosh besides Hemant’s representative Pankaj Mishra in different cases of money laundering.
The tweet got 1816 views, 17 retweets, five quotes and 81 likes within an hour. Though four quotes support Marandi’s view, one quote reads that ‘neither BJP nor JMM is good. If BJP would have been good, JMM had not come in power.’
