Bengaluru, April 8: Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant on Friday claimed that seven schools in the city had received a bomb threat via e-mail, and that police teams were on the scene conducting checks.
Opalan International School in Mahadevapura, Delhi Public School in Varthur, New Academy School in Hennur, St Vincent Paul School in Hennur, and Indian Public School in Govindpura are among the schools.
There is a drill and as per that the bomb squads have gone there for checking.
“Based on the email, our teams are checking there at the spot…when more information comes, it will be shared with you (media),” the Commissioner said.
