In both Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress are locked in a frontal battle.
AAP sees a glimpse of hope in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Gujarat turf, buoyed by its victory in the Surat municipal elections.
Notably, in the Punjab elections, the AAP won a resounding victory, capturing 92 seats and pushing most of its opponents to the margins. In the 117-member Assembly, Congress won 18 seats.
