Bihar: Two killed, three badly burnt after being hit by lightning in Jamui

Jamui, Sept 10: Thunderstorm has wreaked havoc in Jamui, Bihar. Here, two people died due to lightning in the Bhelvamohanpur village of the Sono police station area. Three people have also been badly burnt in Bhuiyadih village. Many cattle have also lost their lives. All the people have been admitted to Sadar Hospital Jamui. Those who died due to Thanka include Niwas Kumar and Nandan Kumar. The injured include Dinesh Yadav, Sudhir Bhulla and Ranjit Kumar.

As per the information Nandan, Niwas and Ranjeet were returning from Sono to their home in Neem Nawada on the same bike. As soon as the three reached Kamat, it started raining heavily. So everyone stopped under a tree. Dinesh Yadav and Sudhir Bhulla were also standing under the same tree. During this time, there was a thunderstorm and due to it, Nandan and Niwas died on the spot. While Ranjit, Sudhir and Dinesh Yadav got badly burnt.
