Airport director K L Agrawal did not take the call when contacted for his comment. However, an insider said the messages were sent using the same mobile number which was used for giving calls.
A CISF official confirmed this situation saying proper steps have been taken to nab the caller and there is nothing to be worried about.
“CISF is here for the safety and security of passengers and the airport. Giving threat calls by calls or message is possible for anyone nowadays but the central force is ready to face any situation and give a befitting reply to those attempting to breach the security of the airport,” the official said.
