Dhanbad, July 25: Maintaining its supremacy among technical institutions, the team of BIT Sindri students bagged first and second position in the Nexus 2.0 national-level web design competition that concluded on Monday evening.
The day-long competition was organized by the IETE Students Forum of BIT Sindri in which more than 200 technocrats from premier technical institutions of the country including Praveen Singh Institute of Technology (PSIT) Kanpur, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) Pune, Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute (VJTI) Mumbai, IIT Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad, Guru Govind Singh College (GGSC) Chandigarh and host institution BIT Sindri had participated.

In the competition, participants were given the task of creating web designs.
BIT Sindri team Code Crafters bagged the first prize and Pixel Pioneer second position whereas VIT emerged third.
IIT ISM Dhanbad team Grull was declared the best squad and team Z of BIT Sindri got the prize for emerging talent.
The eight members panel of judges (experts of reputed institutions and organizations) Prof Ghanshyam, Prof Imteyaz Ahmed ( both BIT Sindri), Suraj Kumar ( Google Summer), Barun Gurjar ( software developer Angel one), Vishal Kumar ( CEO LWT Academy), Iksha Mishra (9 Asst CEO LWT Teach India), Rahul Gupta( software developer Freecharge Payments), Saurabh Kumar Mishra ( PayTm) after marathon assessment declared the winners, runners up and other position teams of the competition.
The organizing committee members of the IETE Students Forum of BIT Sindri said that the competition had offered exciting prizes to the participants, including free flight tickets to Singapore, discounted trip to Goa via Mumbai-Goa cruise, an opportunity to interact with international startup gurus and the chance to pitch their innovative ideas at the Singapore Chamber of Commerce.
“Nexus 2.0 undoubtedly served as a remarkable platform for young talent to showcase their web development skills, gain exposure to the global startup ecosystem, and forge invaluable connections for their future endeavours,” said the organizers.
