New Delhi, Dec.14: Bitcoin’s value fell 4.58 percent on Tuesday, December 14, continuing its trend of more losses and fewer gains. The world’s oldest cryptocurrency is currently trading at $50,553 on the Indian exchange CoinSwitch Kuber (roughly Rs. 38 lakh). Bitcoin’s value is now hovering at $47,235 on foreign markets like CoinMarketCap (roughly Rs. 35 lakh). Bitcoin has failed to move closer to its all-time high of $68,327.99 for the fourth week in a row (roughly Rs. 50.5 lakh).
While Bitcoin battles to regain its value, Ether’s ups and downs have been relatively quiet in recent days. The world’s second-most valuable cryptocurrency is currently selling at $4,050 (approximately Rs. 3 lakh) per token, down 6.75% percent.
Cardano, Ripple, Polkadot, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu were among the cryptocurrencies whose prices jumped around for a while before settling with losses.
Just Tether, USD Coin, and SushiSwap, on the other hand, were gainers, with only tiny changes in their values.
Industry experts expect that crypto market volatility will stay lively in the days ahead of Christmas.
