New Delhi: A fierce verbal clash erupted between the ruling BJP and the opposition AAP in the Delhi Assembly on Monday during discussions on the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on public health infrastructure.

AAP MLA Anil Jha Removed Amid Heated Debate

As tensions escalated, Speaker Vijender Gupta directed marshals to remove AAP MLA Anil Jha from the House for allegedly making “unparliamentary” remarks. The incident occurred while BJP MLA Ashok Goel criticized the former AAP government over its handling of Delhi’s health services.

Religious Remarks Spark Controversy

During the session, BJP MLA Karnail Singh accused Jha of hurting Hindu sentiments by likening the discussion to a “Ramleela performance”.

In response, Speaker Vijender Gupta asked Jha to apologize. However, as chaos persisted, the Speaker ordered his removal from the House by marshals.
