Ranchi: After formally assuming charge as Jharkhand BJP state president, Aditya Sahu said the party will work with full strength to build a strong double-engine government in the state and fight what he termed as prevailing misgovernance.

Focus on Strengthening BJP From Booth to State Level

Addressing party workers, Aditya Sahu said Jharkhand is fertile ground for the BJP, with enthusiastic and committed workers dedicated to serving the nation and the state. He emphasized that the party must be strengthened from the booth level to the state level and sharpen its struggle against poor governance in Jharkhand through collective effort and organizational discipline.

Commitment to Good Governance and BJP-Led Government

After taking charge following prayers and a havan at the BJP state office on the occasion of Vasant Panchami, Sahu said the dream of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s envisioned Jharkhand is yet to be fulfilled. He called upon party workers to pledge themselves to the cause of good governance and declared that the BJP will once again form a strong double-engine government in the state.

Tribute to Netaji and Call to Oust Current Government

Remembering Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary, Sahu said Netaji had deep links with Jharkhand and had raised his voice from this land against British rule. He urged party workers to take a resolve to remove what he described as an anti-poor, anti-farmer, anti-tribal, and anti-backward state government.

Babulal Marandi Praises New State President

Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi described Aditya Sahu as a grassroots, battle-hardened worker with a strong connection to Jharkhand’s soil. He said Sahu has the capability to provide strong leadership to party workers and expressed confidence that the party would grow stronger under his leadership. State Organization General Secretary Karmveer Singh also extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.
