BJP alleges Chatra DC of violating democratic right of candidates in Panchayat poll

Ranchi, May 14: A delegation of BJP knocked on the door of the state election commission alleging Chatra deputy commissioner Anjali Yadav of forcing polling agents to remove all candidates from two polling booths in the district violating the democratic right of candidates and creating doubt over the free and fair election.

The delegation included state spokesperson Saroj Singh, state media in-charge Ashok Baraik and state legal cell convenor Sudhir Shrivastava. The place where this incident happened include Sonpur Panchayat Bhawan where polling was going on for the election of representatives for wards 4 and 5 and Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya in Hasbo, where polling was going on for election of representatives for ward 8,9 and 10.

Yadav has now forwarded her call to another number. The person who received her call said: “Madame is busy in meetings.”
