Ranchi, March 29: BJP state general secretary Pradeep Verma alleged Ranchi deputy commissioner Chhavi Ranjan of being selective in naming doctors in an FIR filed under the direction of the governor.
“The Governor has directed to register FIR against five doctors finding financial irregularities in Red Cross Society but the deputy commissioner first delayed the registration by one month and then dropped the name of one of the five doctors,” Verma alleged demanding action against the DC.
Verma said that the action of the deputy commissioner suggests that some of the officers in Jharkhand have got proper patronage from the state government and they are involved in the corruption on the direction of their bosses.
