New Delhi, March 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday announced the appointments of new chiefs to its Delhi, Bihar and Rajasthan state units, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The appointments were made by the BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday.
Delhi BJP working president Virendra Sachdeva was appointed as its state unit president and Lok Sabha MP CP Joshi was appointed as the new Rajasthan BJP chief.
For Bihar, Samrat Choudhary, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, was made the new state chief, replacing Sanjay Jaiswal.
The BJP Member of Parliament from Rajasthan, CP Joshi has been given the charge of heading the party’s Rajasthan unit. He will replace Satish Poonia, who is the MLA from Jaipur’s Amber constituency. Manmohan Samal, a former State minister, has been appointed as the BJP’s Odisha unit president.
