Ranchi, Nov.20: BJP asked JMM to explain the extent to which ‘adivasi’ and ‘moolvasi’ were benefited when party supremo (read Shibu Soren) was union Coal minister.

The demand for an explanation came a day after JMM general secretary and spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya threatened to start agitation against SAIL, Rail and Coal to mount pressure on these public sector organisations to give 75% jobs and tender up to the limit of Rs one crore to locals including tribal and moolvasi.

Party’s general secretary Pradeep Verma sought the explanation and said that talking against PSUs is a direct attack on the federal structure of the country.

Verma while seeking explanation said that the ruling alliance is giving absurd statements to hide its failure saying they do not have moral right to say anything on development as they have even failed to convene a meeting of the deputy development commissioner and the government’s development is limited to its advertisement only.
