Ranchi, Oct.12: Terming congress party’s programme in UP as drama, BJP state president and Rajya Sabha member Deepak Prakash dared the congress party leaders to visit Rajasthan where according to him cane is being used on farmers and dalits are being lynched.
He suggested ministers of Jharkhand to stop drama in the name of UP and expedite developmental work in the state.
Raising finger on governance in Jharkhand he said law and order has badly deteriorated due to which as many as 2900 women have been raped, a tribal woman in Tilta was knocked down by an auto rickshaw, four members of one tribal family and seven members from another tribal family were murdered in Chaibasa.
Prakash added that land of scheduled caste people is being encroached and work of religious conversion is being promoted. Apart from this, he maintained, 5 kg food grains provided by the prime minister to each ration card holder are being looted.
Expressing his concern for the agitating contract policemen, he said the state is not taking care of them, who belong to different communities of the state including local ST and SC and others.
